Death after rescuing a drowning lover
SEREMBAN: "I am disappointed could not draw even if she wore a shirt that screams for help," said a private college student, Nurul Faizah Noh, 19, a friend of the two victims drowned while picnicking at Gunung Berembun River recreation area, here, yesterday evening.
In the incident about 4 pm, the two victims each shoe shop worker, KhairunNisak Khairul, 18, from Mambau, near here, and her boyfriend, who is also a college student, Mohd Ruzaini Baddarudin, 19, from Klang, Selangor found drowned after a picnic there.
She said the four of them came from the rental house in Seremban Two, near here, riding two motorcycles to the recreation area, about 12.30pm. According to Nurul Faizah, when it was she and three friends that bathing in the waterfall in the area before the heavy rain suddenly cause the water level increased dramatically.
"Both male counterparts to advance up the banks to save the items.
"However, I continue to shower before and KhairunNisak feel uneasy see the water level rising and continue to rise to the rock," she said when met at the scene, here, today.
sHe still looked shocked and traumatized, said to be on the rocks as she glanced up at her, and was surprised to see KhairunNisak terkapai mooring and screamed for help after strong currents swept away.
She said she could only draw Khairun shirt, but missed as strong currents pull and see the emergency incident, Mohd Ruzaini continue to plunge to save his girlfriend. "In strong currents Mohd Ruzaini were drowned and fortunately I managed to jump over the stick and climb the cliff when almost brought current.
"Me and my boyfriend, (Mohd Kalim Shiddiq, 20) could only look to both our partners swept by the current," she said, choked with the incident.
